  • Glenayre: Glenayre is a small residential neighbourhood bordering North Road and Clarke Road at the base of Burnaby Mountain.

  • Heritage Woods PM: Homes in this area are generally larger and even extend extend up the mountain.
  • Mountain Meadows: This area offers plenty of amenities and easy access to a school.
  • North Shore Pt Moody: This is considered the downtown area and has a number of shops and transit options available.

Outdoor Trails & Paths

If you’re an outdoors type of person, this city is perfect for you. Port Moody has:


  • Trans Canada Trail: A 21,500-kilometre recreational trail that runs through every province and territory.
  • Alfred Howe Greenway: A scenic multi-use trail connecting the Glenayre and College Park neighborhoods to the waterfront. The greenway is 2.2km round trip, with an elevation gain of 100 metres.  
  • Multi-access trails: The City has two universally accessible trail systems: the Shoreline Bike Trail (3 km paved bike path) and the TransCanada Trail, which is a mix of on-road sidewalks and off-road trails through Port Moody.

Breweries

“Brewers Row” is the spot to be in the city and there is no arguing that. It’s a one block area that has four breweries lined up beside one another, serving up good times and cold beer. The breweries are:
